SNAP Employment & Training Support Services are available statewide to:
- Food Assistance recipients aged 18-59
- Do not have dependents on the Food Assistance Case
- AND are not working 30 hours or more per week.
Mandatory participation of 30 hours per week in approved SNAP Employment & Training program activities is required for these individuals to continue receiving Food Assistance.
Services and supports available include:
- Assistance with preparing and searching for jobs
- Help getting further education to include High School Diploma, GED, career or technical education
- Assistance with career or technical education programs
- Transitional services for 90 days after new employment begins
- Help getting dentures, eyeglasses, hearing aids
- Transportation funds for education or employment
