The Kansas Mobile Crisis code has officially been opened to allow for non-CMHC providers to join the network. Provider facilities statewide are invited to participate in the program which serves Kansas youth ages 20 and younger regardless of funding or foster care status. Only state-licensed behavioral health facilities are eligible to participate in this program.
The national model for Mobile Crisis requires a 24 hour a day/7 day a week in-person response to Mobile Crisis calls. Please note: This program is for licensed Kansas facilities only, not for individual or group providers.
